If you learn the number from 1 to 10 it would be much easier to understand large numbers

 

First thing you notice while learning German is what we call “a compound noun” which is made up of two distinct words: die Identifikationsnummer, in this case “nummer” is at the end and  holds the meaning of the compound  word. More about this later, in the Compound words lesson, on grammar section..

 

Learning basic operations is also helpful when you want to calculate something out loud, maybe you’ll need to explain a problem in German in case something went wrong with a bill or a payment error

300 = dreihundert
